"Now we talk about the past"

This project aimed to create three Reminiscence Centers: one in Bucharest 9inside the Geriatrics and Chronical Diseases Hospital St. LUCA, for elderly people hospitalized on a medium term in this institution; one Center in Cluj- Napoca (in partnership with The Foundation for the Care of Elderly People; and one reminiscence Center in Sibiu (in partnership with PRO VITA Association).

The benficiaries of the last two Centers were ambulatory patients. There have been 540 direct and 300 indirect beneficiaries of the three Reminiscence Centers. All three Centers offered services by a specially trained staff in the reminiscence stimulation technique. There were many materials used, like posters, brochures, advertising materials to promote the Centers and also a data base containing more than 2.000 direct and indirect beneficiaries.
